What Where is Bob is
Where is Bob is a calm deduction puzzle. Bob is hiding somewhere on the board, and your job is to work out exactly which square, using only the clues. Read the clues, rule out the impossible, and tap the square where Bob has to be.
Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and you can always reach it by reasoning rather than guessing. There are no hints, no ads and no account: just you, the board and the clues.
Where is Bob is free on Google Play and the App Store, works fully offline, and collects no personal data.
What is in the game
- Hundreds of hand-made levels in themed chapters, from the Mansion to the Circus, each with its own story and music.
- A daily puzzle: the same puzzle for everyone on a given day, with a streak to keep.
- More than twenty kinds of clue, from simple rows, columns and directions to distances, comparisons and ranges, with red herrings mixed in.
- Bob's friends Alice, Carol, Dave and Eve share the board. Placing them first is often the key.
- Clues shown as clean icon tiles, or as plain text if you prefer.
- Note markers to track what you have worked out about the other characters.
- Three stars per level: a wrong guess costs a star, and mastering a whole chapter at three stars earns replay tokens.
- Boards that grow with the chapters, and a few timed levels for a change of pace.
- Designed for one hand, in portrait. No hints, no in-game currency, no energy.
- Respects the reduced-motion setting, marks wrong guesses with a shape rather than colour alone, and keeps touch targets large.

- Read every clue. Each one is a fact about where someone is.
- Place Bob's friends first. Their clues narrow Bob down.
- Rule out squares one by one. Note markers help you keep track.
- Tap Bob's square. By default you tap twice to confirm, so a slip does not cost a star.
